Christmas

This year we wanted to set the tone for the Christmas season. We wanted Christ to be the center this year and years to follow. We started Dec 1, with an advent book. Isaiah loved looking at the picture of Jesus and animals. Each day we got to flip a little tab showing a picture of the story. He especially enjoyed doing that. Then I had mentioned to Jon that I wanted to have a manger under the tree and Jesus would be put there Christmas morning. I found this great idea to put straw each day in the manger until Christmas to make a bed for Jesus. Unfortunately it was already Dec 23. My hubby went on search for Jesus in Bville. He was unable to find what he was looking for. We did however find the cutest plush nativity scene at Mardels in Tulsa.

Christmas Parade

We bundled up and headed for the Bville Parade tonight.

Isaiah was just a little scared of these characters.

Warming up to the Parade. He started clapping and waving at all the cars that went by.

We didn't get to stay for the entire Parade. We herd there was some sort of accident, so the Parade was at a halt for while. Plus, it was getting very chilly.

Whats New..

Isaiah is 15 months and loves to play with Daddy. Although, he has been cuddling with his mama alot these days.

And this little one has entered our lives. Jon has been wanting a dog for some time. We had to let our very large lab go to another home this summer. We stopped by SPCA sat just browsing and ended up with Febe( renamed Zoe).

There going to be good buddies, they both love playing outside.

Little Mickey

Isaiah loves his Mickey Mouse, so that's what the theme has been around here. Plus, it is one of the few shows Jon and I approve of for our little guy. So, many bad shows out there even for little ones. Most of the time is spent playing with Dada, occasionally he gets to watch Mickey Mouse ( he loves the hot dog song), and Word World ( good show for learning toddlers.) Jon and I will be previewing alot of shows and movies to see if it is appropriate for the little one.





Here is Mickey Mouse. Playing games at Hallelujah Night. He didn't get the hang of throwing something into the whole, instead wanted to keep all the balls from every game.

The Fair

Isaiah got to experience the fair for the ( second time), he was just itty bitty the first time he went. Besides it being incredibly stressful to park at that place( took us at least 30 min to park). Finally, Jon said get out and stand in a spot, so as soon as we saw a car move, I stood in the spot until Jon could park.

Isaiah enjoyed the fair more this year. He called every animal with wings quack-quack. His favorite part was the kids place, riding in the cars. Of course, the boy loves cars, truck, and being outside. Just like his father.

Little Hunter

Sunday mornings are Isaiah and Dad time. Jon gets up with Isaiah and lets mom sleep in. Yesterday Isaiah and Jon were watching one of Jon's hunting shows when Jon decided to let Isaiah play with some of his hunting gear. He brought in his stuff that he uses to call the deer in.
If it was up to Jon, Isaiah would be in a tree stand with him this year.
