Good Bye Pacifier - Hello Potty Training

I though both of these would be the most miserable time for us. So far they are both going good. We decided after Christmas we needed to pursue these since Baby #2 will be here soon. We started with the " Night Night" and started clipping a little each night. This worked and no crying. Although he held on to it and asked for each night like a blanky or something. Until this week! No more "Night Night" he hasn't assisted for it! Yay one thing down.

Then we went to straight to big boy underwear with Isaiah. The first day several accident and then after that he seemed to catch on. Of course Daddy was home that week which helped a bunch. That was three weeks ago and most of the time he tells us when he needs to potty. Except in public. He is terrified of those giant big boy potty's in restaurants or stores. Hopefully we can conquer that before baby gets her.

I think now that Mommy tummy is getting bigger he is started to understand that maybe there is a baby in there. He loves to talk to my belly and says he is going to share his toys
with baby. The other day I said you should play with your friends. He said no I play with brother. I really do hope they are the best of friends. Sharing toys on the other hand not to sure about that.

Christmas Pictures!

Christmas morning.

Jonathan telling Isaiah the story of Baby Jesus. Often this Christmas Isaiah would get Santa and Baby Jesus story confused. But he is such a sweet boy he wanted to give Santa and Baby Jesus gifts. At least we are getting the giving part down.

Christmas with Nini and Papa.
A new car from Great Gma Verbie!Isaiah didn't really care what he was opening he wanted to help everyone with their gifts. He would say" What is it" PAJAMAS!! He was just excited to tear the paper off.

Great Gma and Papa Jenkins with all the great grand kids. Oops little Colt didn't make it in the pictures.
Gma and Papa Jenkins Christmas. All 5 boys got big dump trucks and raced and raced each other around the house. There you are " Baby Colt" as Isaiah calls him.
What a Crew and we will be adding the 10th Grandchild in April to Gma and Papas! Isaiah is loving going to doctor with us to hear Mommy's baby. We will tell him its his Baby brother too and sometimes he agrees but most of the time its Mommy's baby.
