Bath Time

Bath time is becoming really fun with Isaiah. He actually enjoys it now. For the longest time he would scream his head off, because he hated being cold and the water.

Catching Up

This is what Jon and I have been doing since last week...

We had a date night this weekend. Got to go see Blind Side(good movie). We also ate at Osaka restaurant. I would suggest not going there. We waited line for an hour and a half. There was no rhyme or reason as to who got seated next. We also had a gift card and they decided to charge it to our bank account. I called twenty people who did not speak English, before I could get the situation figured out. We also had a free hotel night, in the most amazing place(thanks to my friend who to me to bunko!!) We stayed at the Ambassador in Tulsa. The room was beautiful and the bed was like heaven.

Then we come home and little man has a cough and runny nose. No, big deal babies get that right. Turns out we have our first ear infection. He woke up last night about five almost screaming, he wouldn't stop crying. I was thinking this has got to be the most painful tooth in the world. Jon took him to the doctor today which confirmed the ear infection.

We have also made milestones this week. Isaiah now scoots backwards. Dad tries to teach him to crawl everynight. He also says Bababa. Amazing how these little ones change over night!

Life....

OK, my prayer warriors. Jonathan and I would like you to pray that God would give us discernment in the next step in our lives. Since taking Dave Ramsey's Finance class we have decided to kick debt out of our lives. Jon found this house that could potentially help us with that. Freeing us from debt would help us with our ultimate goal of being able to give, give, give to the kingdom of God.

Please put us on your prayer list. Pray that if this is the right house, everything would go smoothly. From selling our house, to getting the other house, and having enough money to fix up the things we need to continue my daycare. The house only needs a little repair(OK, the house needs some serious help)!

Feet

Finding your hands and feet when your a baby is the most incredible thing. For Isaiah realizing those tiny things actually belong to you is a whole new experience. These discoveries are really fun to watch for mom and dad.

Now that his hands go in his mouth all the time, it was time to discover the feet can go in there as well.

Party

We had a wonderful super bowl party. Isaiah got to play with his buddy Preston (who is only a week younger than him) and a bunch of church friends.

Jon's Jalapeno Poppers were a hit (way to go Jon!!). For all those who wanted the recipe....

Time to Eat!

Every meal seems to have the same result. Baby food or cereal everywhere. Isaiah is loving baby food, even more than his cereal. We have to mix his baby food with cereal to get him to eat it now. He really is becoming a master at eating from the spoon.
