20 Months!!

Noah is getting really close to 2 and he is a child of extremes. He can be the most loving and huggable little guy and in the same minute throw the biggest fit. They don't usually last that long. He does have a slight little temper though. His lovable side comes out when he feels the need to check in every 5 minutes and make sure you are still around. He comes up to us and buries his head in between our legs and after a little hug he is off playing again.
Noah is our very active boy. He is most content outside. If there something to climb into, he is in it and if there is something to climb on, he is on it. Jon recently asked when we were moving this little guy to a big boy bed, I said never. We are surprised he has not climbed out of his baby bed yet. He hated his bed at first, but now he seems content most nights being in there. Once it is morning though, he is ready to go. He let's us know it too with his scream for freedom. He is also has a very sweet spirit. He loves to help in his tiny little way. He will gladly unload the dishwasher for me. It usually consist of Mom grabbing all the breakables and knives as fast as I can. He also loves the laundry. It ends up on the floor fifty percent of the time, but he will drag it out of the dyer and help fold (throw it)!

He is also our kid that does not stay clean. He does look like the above pic, most of the time. I often say, why do we even dress this kid. He is a big eater if he can stab or scoop the food with a fork. If not it ends up on the floor. He gets in trouble several times at the table from Dad for throwing his food and sometimes by Mom. He is also in a stage of biting. He has bit his friends many times and we had to get really strict about this biting habit. I read this can be a form of over excited behavior. I hoping that is the case. No one wants their baby to be a biter. He loves to bite when wrestling with Dad and bub. I hope this sweet- aggressive little boy calms down when he turns 2.

Noah favorites: loves to read, balls, watermelon, milk, his bub, and he is a mamma's boy. He is all boy. Isaiah at this age gravitated towards his dad. He still needed mom for those injuries, but wanted to hunt and play with dad. Noah on the other hand likes being with dad, but loves being with mama. I am OK with that.

2013 Summer Fun!!

We had a busy and very fun summer. Both boys were old enough to enjoy most everything. Mom and Dad started off with a vacation to Branson all by themselves!!

We went camping a couples times. Noah however did not get to join us, he is not found of sleeping outdoors or hotels. They both love the splash pad, which we frequented almost every week.

And we got to hit the Kiddie park several times. The weather stayed cool enough in the evenings when we went that it was enjoyable.

And we played outside in the water everyday!! Noah loves to splash and run in the sprinklers and both boys enjoyed there mini pool.

Isaiah favorite was our mini vacation to the water park hotel in Tulsa. The boy who hated water, now played
in this cute little pool area for hours. He was most disappointed we could not go to "swim lessons" there all the time.

Our summer ended and Isaiah "4" started Pre-K. Whew, that was a hard on for Mom. He loves playing in the centers at school and playing outside on the playground. He is getting really good at tracing his letters and writing a few of them. He can count to 30 almost, he gets his 26-29 confused sometimes. Its only 3 times a week, but he really loves it.

And Noah Turned 18 months. He just babbles and talks all the time. He can say ball, bub, go, down, up, more, dog, toes, shoe, book, uh-OH, and no no. Most don't have the endings, but we know what he saying. He knows the sounds for tiger, elephant, and dog and repeats the sounds in very soft whisper. He pretty much loves to wrestle and do anything Isaiah is doing. He still is taking 2 naps a day, love it, but may be moving towards one nap. He loves fruit and his milk, he will drink milk all day long. He weighs 27 pounds and is 33.5 inches.

Isaiah is 4!!!

Time really does goes fast, can not believe he is 4!! This past year has been full of fun with this kiddo and alot more time outs, spakens, and fits then we have ever had. As soon as 3 hit, so did the attitude. He also stopped taken naps, not so fun for MOM. He loves outdoors, playing with his bow, and riding his bike named Rocket. Isaiah is not that found of eating and will choose not to eat, unless it includes candy or cake. He often wants candy for breakfast, and we don't even keep much candy in the house. He does love apples and strawberries, with flour on them "powder sugar " and we can not go a day without watered down apples juice! He is most found of Jake and 2 weeks before the big birthday we changed our party from fire-station to Jake party, yay for the mom who already ordered firemen party favors.
The Big Jake Birthday Party!!

 Making swords and eye patches.

Noah was not found of the eye patch.

Jonathan came up with this really neat treasure hunt for the kids.

He made activities at each station for the kids to do. The first was jumping over quick sand. Then they got 3 gold doubloons after completing the task.
Second they had to cross the crocodile river.

Third Jon made this boat out of cardboard and they had to throw cannon balls at the target " water balloons."
Then they had to walk the plank or as Isaiah said all day " Walk the plant"
And we found the treasure, Papa Mike found this box at a garage sale and made the swords to go on the front!!

 Then a pinata!!!

Isaiah also visited the doctor that week and is 55 inches and 35 pounds, I think his bub will catch up to that soon.
