New Words

This is spotted baby. When he had the rash with his virus. The rash is gone now, and he is doing much better!!

Isaiah is starting to babble all the time. He will just sit and talk about everything and no one can understand him. He will also look at you and talk as if he is trying to tell you something.

He has started trying to form few words for things. Ba- for ball. Jon is teaching Isaiah to throw the ball (using his left hand of course). NNN (Vroom) When he sees any type of car. He also says MMM when he eats. He loves to chow down. Now that he sickness is over, he is back to eating everything.

We are getting very anxious in the Rigsby house. Our house is almost done. Ok, just the big project. With the help of my dads crew, we should be done in the next couple weeks. Then there is always the dreaded painting, but oh well the dirt and dust should be leaving us soon.

Sick, Sick, Sick

This week Isaiah got an ear infection on Sunday. Sometime during the week he got a virus from his buddy at daycare. Which came with a fever and a rash all over the poor baby.

He is looking much better today. The fever is gone , but still has the rash. At least he should be better by the weekend!! Good news is Isaiah's starting to take 4 steps at one time, we are sure he will running all over the place soon.

Before getting sick we went to the Splash Pad. Isaiah did not like the water at first, but a few minutes with dad he was having lots of fun.

Just making a mess!

Jon decided today that he would put some siding on the house, where we had a leak. Well...

It turned in to ripping part of the wall out. I guess it had to been done. There was some water damage on the wall, imagine that in this house. Evidently there was a water leak and some termite damage. The great news is we are almost done. Yay!! It's hard to get upset about a hole in the wall when I have my little helper. He helped me pull some weeds and decided the dirt tasted pretty good!!

More Fun.

Not only does our litte one like to climb on things, but in things as well.

Climbing in a box of drywall mud.
He was not very happy with me that I was taking pictures instead of helping him out.

Jon and I attempted to put the final coat of mud in our sunroom. Not only did we have know idea what we were doing, the stuff was flying everywhere.

And our baby is 11 months. AHH.. I know say this every month, but I cant believe it. I am searching for ideas for his big party. The themes in mind are cars, sports, or hunting (I am not fond of this one). Does anyone have any ideas where I can get cute invitations. I would like to put his picture on them.

Fun Weekend

Fourth of July Weekend Wrap-up

First Jon and I started the weekend trying some ear candles that we got in Branson. They are supposed to clean your ears out and I guess help you hear better. Although neither of us feel like it made a difference it was a fun experience.

On Saturday we headed to Tulsa to watch Jon run in his first 5k. Jon placed 190 out of 839 overall, and 19 out of 41 in his age group. There were about 1000 people there running to support families in the military or families that have lost a loved one in the war.

Sunday and Monday was spent at the lake. Isaiah got to play in the sand for the first time and he also got to ride in the boat. He was so tired he even fell asleep on the boat. He got to float around on the knee board with dad and cousin Malokai.
