Good and Bad

As you can see from the pictures below that the lovely red tile that was present before we started remodeling has reappeared. We found out that our AC unit was leaking, and water was sitting under the wood flooring. Water + Laminate Floor = A Bad Thing. The good news is we are only out $140 to fix the AC plus the cost of replacement flooring.



On a more positive note, the amazing weather has allowed the three of us to get outside and get away from the craziness of remodeling. We took Isaiah to the park. He wasn't so sure about the swings, but enjoyed trying to eat the playground rocks. We have also enjoyed several walks, and Isaiah even got to enjoy Dad's first softball game of the year. Nikki's parent's are letting us use their cabin on Lake Hudson this weekend. Thanks Butch and Sylvia!! Jon is excited because this will be Isaiah's first trip out on the lake in the boat. We will update with pics. Everyone have a fun and safe Memorial Day.

This is what I got for Mothers Day!! Nana and Papa helped Isaiah make this for me.
This week we are getting 2 teeth. The top ones this time. Runny noses and fevers are so fun.
We are getting close to the house being finished. We are hoping to have the majority done by the end of May. Then we will just have little detail projects on our hands.
